Keith Eccles is a nationally recognized “old school” free hand pinstriper, sign painter and artist. Starting his career on the beaches of the Gulf Coast airbrushing t-shirt’s in 1977, learning the art of pinstriping and hand lettering from many of the "great ones". Keith traveled across the country painting signs, billboards and cars, B.C.(before computors). His preferred mediums are air brush, custom car painting and pinstriping, water color, fine art, wall murals, and tattooing.
Keith has been written up in national magazines - Sports Illustrated, Dupont National Coatings, Trucker Magazine, national and local newspapers and TV. Doing art for clients like NBA All Star Karl Malone, Wilfred Brimley, Trucker Dick Simon, Louisiana Tech university, State of Utah, Kenworth, Peterbult and Freightliner. Working car shows across the country, Auto Rama’s and Big Daddy (Ed Roth) Rat Fink Festibles. Keeping “old school” cool and the art of hand lettering alive and well. Keith is best know for his western airbrush scene on NBA all star Karl Malone’s semi truck and trailer, and Dick Simons fleet of Skunk Trucks.
Now residing in Salt Lake City, working in with auto paint shop RAW-TIN Garage. His passion - promoting youth art programs no longer offered in schools, teaching the art of hand pinstriping , lettering , and airbrush.
